At the start of my senior year in high school, I fractured my skull. I had to stop everything. No sports and a late start to classes. For about two years I had been seeing different neurologists with no positive results. Eventually, things started to get worse during my sophomore year in college. With all the pain and migraines, I wasn’t able to concentrate, focus, or do anything without any pain. It started to look like I wasn’t going to finish my sophomore year. That’s when I found out about Dr. Lyss. After my first visit with him, I almost immediately started to feel better. There was a sense of relief and hope. And now, after just four visits, I have gotten back to running, doing my farm work, I can focus and simply do things without the fear of regretting it, due to pain. Dr. Lyss made me feel like family. He treats me like I’m his only patient (which I’m not) by spending a lot of time with me, not rushing things, being honest and just taking time to get to know me. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I am always looking forward to my visits there. I am so thankful to be a patient of Dr. Lyss’. He has changed my life for the better. I can finally say that I actually have my life back.- David W
